Portrait demo

This assignment was not my favorite. But it was still really cool learning how all the professionals do all the studio work! my two photos were of CJ and Lindsey. The pictures turned out pretty well...here take a look!

Photo 7 insperation

For the next photo assignment I am going to do Light Painting. What photo gave me inspiration is a photo taken by avarus mentis'. It just looks like a very cool photo and some times was taken into it.

Best motion picture

This was alot harder than i thought! I didnt even get a focused in picture! People that actually do this for a living I have to give respect cause this is the hardest assignment I have done!

Photo Assignment #5: Texture and Pattern

This assignment seemed easy, and finding textures and patterns were easy! but there was one hard part...getting a good picture of textures and patterns. There really is no story to this, but I think how the pattern lasts throughout the whole picture is awesome!

Panoramic Photo assignment

In this assignment we went out and took at least three different pictures, not to have them, but to put them in a panoramic photo. A panoramic photo is a picture that is really wide and usually consists of at least three different pictures. I really liked this assignment because it was cool to learn more about what the professionals do. This was a really unique assignemnt.

Photo Assignment #4: Motion

In this assignment I did motion. I went outside when it was pouring rain outside. Then I put about 6 phone books on the ground on top of a towel, and put an umbrella covering it. I got soaked but I made sure that the camera wouldn't get wet. So I put the camera on top of the phone books and set the shutter speed to about: 5 seconds. ISO:800 and aperture at F5.6. I think that this picture turned out so well because i set the shutter speed so high that it caught every single piece of raindrop for 5 seconds. So I found this to be an amazing photo.

Car assignment

In the car assignment we took a picture that was taken by Noelle Jacobs and we "GIMPed" it. By "GIMPed" i mean we used the program GIMP and we edited the photo to make it better, otherwise known as enhancing. I really liked this assignment cause I have always wondered how you do all the editing techniques. So now i dont have to wonder!

Still life Assignment

In my assignment I decided to take some pictures of some still life. This assignment turned out a lot harder than I thought it would be! I don't even think that I had a great picture, but this one turned out ok, I guess. Not my favorite picture and I do believe that I definitely could of done better. But oh well. So this picture I think is pretty neat. it is of an old clock and a candle. what I don't like is how the candle looks kind of tilted, but its still a neat picture

In this assignment we used GIMP and we added some effects to a portrait of ours. For me on my top right color, I had green. For my top left color, I had red. Bottom right, I had yellow, and bottom left I had blue. I liked how my picture turned out. I also think That being able to edit your photos like this is pretty amazing!

Portrait assignment

I would say that this is my best picture in this assignment. I do believe that it shows great rule of thirds. The technical details are:

Composition Assignment 2

In the composition assignment number two we had to take 5 different pictures. They are: Framing, Perspective, Balance, Space, and Color.

The two sinks stood for balance. The chair though, you must look in the background at the walls and lights and you realize that it is perspective. the next picture is space. I wont say the object but can u guess it? You really wouldn't believe what it is! The next picture represents color, even though it might not have much it is amazing how the dark gray almost makes the white light blind you when if the area was light gray the white light would not seem nearly as bright. The next picture is of my sister. The door and the wall represents the 'frame' int the picture.




From this assignment I learned more ways to take pictures to make them look better and more attractive. Finding out all these new ways to take some pictures made me respect photographers alot more considering how they go out and take these pictures when I can barely find any good picture of these. This assignment was a challenge for me.
